NERĒA is a twelve-room boutique hotel on the Plakias seafront in southern Crete, named for the sea deity Nereus and built with traditional Cretan techniques and natural materials.

Momi Slow Living Hotel opened in 2024 in Korakia village above Hersonissos, its 91 rooms drawing on traditional Cretan building forms — thick walls, arches, stone — set within a tended garden.

Block722 laid this 2024 Marriott across 100 coastal acres near Chania, working in marble, wood, olive and carob trees with green roofs that let the buildings settle into the Cretan shoreline.
