Book it if

You want a calm, design-led base a short walk from Hersonissos beach and town, with pools, spa and yoga, and don't mind an adults-leaning crowd.

Skip it if

You're travelling with young children — check-in is 18+, guests must be over 12, and no cribs or extra beds are available.

What guests say

  • Guests repeatedly praise the staff as warm and genuinely helpful, with several naming individuals such as Yannis for going out of their way.
  • Reviewers single out the modern, spotless look of the property and the run of pools, calling it aesthetically pleasing throughout.
  • Many describe the location as peaceful yet within an easy walk of both the beach and the town centre.
  • The spa treatments and the yoga classes come up often as highlights of a stay here.

The recurring gripe: Half-board dinners can be inconsistent; some rooms involve significant stairs and neighbour noise carries at night.

The story

The design borrows directly from the Cretan village: arched openings (kamares), worked stone (lithos, petra), the domed tholos. According to the hotel, the whole property was renovated for 2024, with brand-new rooms and facilities laid out around a tended garden in Korakia. Room categories carry those same names — Kamares, Loft, Oikos, Lithos, Tholos, Petra, Nemea, Dione — and several come with private pools.

Rooms are air-conditioned with private bathrooms and either sea or garden views. Elia Restaurant serves Mediterranean buffet cuisine; breakfast is continental, with local specialities, warm dishes and fresh pastries. The spa and wellness centre runs treatments, a fitness room and yoga classes, and a recently added wing brought a third pool. The garden also hosts an open-air cinema.

The beach at Limenas Hersonissou sits about 730 m away, roughly an eight-minute walk, with the centre of Hersonissos 400 m off and Aquaworld Aquarium at 500 m. Heraklion airport is 19–23 km (12–14 mi); a shuttle runs and private parking is free. A calm setting close to town and sand.
