The story
The hotel sits on a 15,000 m² hillside planted with olive trees, looking down over Kissamos Bay, and it runs entirely on rooftop solar panels — part of a €10 million investment in sustainable tourism, according to the hotel. It carries Green Key certification, and the numbers stay small: twenty nature-inspired suites from 140 m² and a single private villa with infinity pool.
Every suite comes with a Coco-Mat bed and a private terrace, ranging from Superior and Deluxe Suites up to the Two Bedroom Suite and Signature Villa. The kitchen at Anemoia takes a plant-forward, zero-waste line rooted in traditional Cretan cooking, using seasonal, local and ethically sourced ingredients, and serves breakfast through dinner with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options. The spa adds sauna, steam room, hot tub, massage and an outdoor pool with a view.
Viglia Beach is a 15-minute walk, Kissamos Port sits 1.6 km (1 mi) away and the town centre 2.7 km (1.7 mi); Ancient Falassarna lies 11 km (6.8 mi) off. Chania International Airport is 53–56 km (33–35 mi) distant, so plan the transfer. Early reviews are strong for a property this new.
