The story
Manos Kipritidis has set five villas along the natural slope of the hillside, building in pale stone, raw wood and earthy tones so the houses read as part of the landscape rather than an interruption. Each carries the name of a natural element — Roē for water, Phos for light, Ryāki for fire, Terra for earth, Anemi for air. It is a small, deliberate operation from Omicron Hotels, the Cretan family collection behind Acro Suites.
Every villa comes with a private pool, sun terrace, fully equipped kitchen and air-conditioning, plus bathrobes and free toiletries. Breakfast is continental, and the wider experience leans on chef-led dining, foraging trips and in-villa treatments — massage of most kinds, from couples' to full-body. The real spa card, according to the hotel, is guest access to the Bath House Spa next door at Acro Suites.
The setting is the hillside above Agia Pelagia, whose centre sits about 1 km (0.6 mi) away. Mononaftis Beach is a 7-minute walk (625 m / 2,050 ft) downhill, with Psaromoura Beach at 700 m (2,300 ft) and Agia Pelagia Beach 1.8 km (1.1 mi) off. Heraklion airport is 24 km (15 mi) away, with a paid shuttle. A promising, quiet debut for the north coast.
