The story
The building keeps things small and deliberate: fifteen suites arranged around an outdoor infinity pool that splits into a plunge section and a shallow end, with a pool bar alongside. A sun terrace and planted garden fill the spaces between, and the seasonal pool runs from 1 May to 31 October. There are no elevators here, so the scale stays low and quiet.
Room categories span a wide range — Standard Double Suite, Suite with Balcony or Terrace, Superior and Junior Suites, one Junior Suite with a private pool, and Two- and Three-Bedroom Suites for larger groups. The single restaurant serves Greek cuisine across breakfast, brunch and lunch, with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options. Spa facilities cover massage, facials and body treatments, plus yoga classes and a personal trainer.
Kato Gouves sits 13 km (8 mi) from Heraklion International Airport, with a shuttle available and free private parking on site. Gouves Beach is under 1 km (0.6 mi) away, about 700 m (2,300 ft) at its nearest point, and the centre of Gouves is 1.9 km (1.2 mi) off. A small, low-rise base for a coastal stay.
