The story
The resort sits on a rocky headland that the hotel's site describes as a private peninsula, an island within an island in Eastern Crete. Its architecture works outward from a dark-bottom freshwater infinity pool, positioned for 360° views across Mirabello Bay. The design language is quiet and landscape-led, with terraced gardens threading between the buildings and the water.
Rooms number 148 across a wide range of categories. At the simpler end sit Zen Double Rooms; higher up are the Sunset Suite with Private Pool, the Infinity Lagoon Suite and the Waterfall Suite, alongside a Zen Beachfront Bungalow. Two restaurants handle the day: Mom serves breakfast and dinner, Amar covers lunch and dinner, both spanning Greek, Mediterranean and international menus with vegan, gluten-free, halal and kosher options. The spa adds sauna, massage, facials and a relaxation lounge, plus a wellness path the hotel calls Nao.
The property is beachfront, with a private beach area and the nearest beach 600 m (1,950 ft) away; Agios Nikolaos town centre lies 2 km (0.9 mi) off. Heraklion International Airport is roughly 56 km (35 mi), with an airport shuttle and free on-site parking. A good fit for couples who want views and quiet over a walkable town.
