The story
The building holds only six suites, arranged for privacy along the seafront. Categories range from a Comfort Suite with its own outdoor whirlpool and sea view to a Loft Suite with direct sea views and a Superior Maisonette. Each comes with a balcony, kitchenette, air conditioning and a private bathroom. The hotel's site notes hypoallergenic and allergen-friendly pillows for sensitive sleepers, and an on-site art gallery sits alongside the poolside bar.
An outdoor infinity pool with a bar anchors the sun terrace, and beach loungers with drink and water service run down to the shore. Breakfast is served in-room: local specialities, warm dishes and fresh pastries, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Beauty services are available on request. The scale here is deliberately small, run hands-on by the owners since it opened in August 2021.
Rethymno Beach is 45 m (150 ft) away, with a 12 km sandy stretch alongside. The old town lies 1.5 mi (2.3 km) off, roughly a 15-18 minute walk, and the Archaeological Museum is 2.4 km (1.5 mi) away. Chania airport is 68 km (42 mi), Heraklion 77 km (48 mi), with an airport shuttle and free street parking. A precise, personal small hotel for beachfront calm within reach of the old town.
